Lent Day 1/46

So it has been 2 years since I went on the HCG diet and I have decided to go back on it again. I remember being on it and STARVING, probably because I was not doing it right to begin with. I did not follow it as it was laid out and I was netting 0 calories each day. This time around I will follow it perfectly. It is Lent and I can't wait to be MORE disciplined.

Phase 1 = Days 1-2 LOADING DAYS:
Begin taking the HCG hormone but eat as much fat and sugar as you can. These two days of food will serve as your storage reserve for the duration of the first week on the HCG diet. You will likely gain weight during loading days, but it will come off quickly as the hormone and the very low calorie diet start working together. Many people do not want to participate in the loading days when they hear they will gain more weight, but if you don’t, you will suffer from extreme hunger pains during the first week on the diet. This phase is necessary and you will be glad you did it after the pounds start falling off. We suggest you do consume healthy fats like salmon, tuna, avocado, nuts, peanut butter and coconut oil, but enjoy your farewell party for all the bad foods you won’t want to eat with regularity again. You should be in a constant state of “stuffed” for these two days. Eat all through the day and night as you please!

I am back!

Hey y'all I am back! I have just spent the last couple of months in Italy and France. Turns out I lost a lot of fat there, but ever since I got back I have gained a couple of pounds back...like 10! But then again, Europe was super fun!

Oh well. In the beginning of the year I was 195lbs. I am now a steady 175lbs. I don't watch my diet because I don't have to anymore. What the HCG diet let me do is unlearn SOME of my bad habits and reset my normal eating habits.

Here is what I wrote in my old "About Me" section in January:

"I am 195 lbs. I have been dieting since I left the Gold's gym weigh in! My goal is 104 lbs in 3 months, but I am willing to settle for 150 lbs!"

Although I was not able to loose 104lbs in 3 months, or even a year. I was able to lose 20lbs since the beginning of the year and 35lbs in total permanently. I can't believe what has happened in the past year and some months but it is nice to know it was better than achieving nothing.

I think I am going to go back on the HCG diet for 6 weeks and see if I can lose some more weight. I have a hanging skin on my arms and belly, but before I go into plastic surgery to tighten my skin, I would like to lose more. That is IF I chose surgery. I don't like going under the knife, but I might have to.

I think my goals should be more realiztic this time around. Let's say 35lbs in 3 months.

Later!

Medifast is over!

My Medifast supplies are gone! I am currently at 164.4. I think I only lost like 5.6 lbs this round. Oh well. I am going to exercise like crazy over the next couple of weeks before I start HCG again. I am craving normal food.

Medifast: Day 23

Well, it is Day 23 and I am now at 166.9 -it's something. Now that I have tried Medifast, I am comparing it to HCG. I took the drops for my first round. I read somewhere that HCG drops are basically a placebo. But how can that be. I am a super lazy and inconsistent person. HCG worked for me, and something like Medifast did not work as well. Well I can wait to start my placebo...errr...HCG diet again on Sunday. I am exercising like crazy and it is making me pretty sleepy, I can't wait to stop all this exercising and go on HCG again.

Medifast: Day 21

Day 21, no change. I am thinking Medifast is not working for me. Oh well I have 4 more days until I am back on HCG. I might as well stick it out.

Anywho, i just went to the doctor's on Friday. Here are my results over the past 3 years:
